Biographical information about Martha
Judy Lindow has been our Office Manager since July, 2002. Her father
made his career in the Air Force so Judy traveled quite a bit during
her younger years. The traveling has taken her through all 50 states
as well as a few countries in Asia. Her father retired in St. Louis and
this has been her home since 1967.

Judy’s career has been almost as varied as her traveling. She has been
a Donut Maker, Waitress, Certified Nursing Assistant, Customer
Service Representative, Independent Consultant for a jewelry
Company, Receptionist, Bookkeeper, Secretary, Shift Manager, Office
                                                      Administrator and Office Manager.

Judy has five “Prides and Joys”. Her husband, David, who is a teacher’s aid for the Special School
District and an ordained minister; her two children, Tim, a store manger and Jon, a restaurant
manager; her two grandchildren, Amber, who is a college sophomore; and Dillon, who is in middle
school. She also has two dashounds, Norman and Blue, which like to take her on a “run” each day, even
though she would prefer just to walk!

In her spare time Judy likes to spend time with her “Prides and Joys”; read; write and put lessons
together for Children’s Ministries; and people watch. You can also occasionally find her bopping around
St. Louis as “Bopper” the clown.
After graduating from the St. louis Institute of  Music and a brief stint
of teaching, Ken Palmer left St. Louis to  study organ performance
with organist Herbert Manfred Hoffmann at Frankfurt Germany.
During his three year stay, he performed organ recitals, sang and
recorded with the Frankfurter Kantatenkreis  and  performed with
members of the  the Hessicher Rundfunk Orchester. He financed his
studies by tours through  Germany , France and Spain as music
director for the Gisela Gunther and Heinz  Schneider Agencies.

He returned to his home in St. Louis and joined  the St. Louis Jazz
Quartet. After appearances  with the quartet  in concert with the St.
Louis Symphony Orchestra, he was invited back on many occasions to appear as  guest pianist with
the orchestra under such conductors  as Walter Susskind , Henry Mancini,  Richard Hayman and
Leonard Slatkin,  to name a  few. He holds bachelors, masters and doctorate degrees  in composition
and organ performance from the former St. Louis Institute of Music and Washington University.   He
was recently re-appointed music director at Unity Christ Church. He composes,  concertizes, and
records in the St. Louis Area.

Due to Dr. Ken Palmer’s recent ordination in the Divine Science Church, Unity Christ Church has
changed his title from Director of Music to Minister of Music.  CONGRATULATIONS, Ken!!
